Weddings main page

I have finally designed the web page that will be the main selling point for WeddingsByAdam. This is a big relief as I cant tell you how frustrating it is to have a working product but nothing to sell it with.

This is being coded at the moment and I hope to have it up soon.

We have a design for the admin interface for the application but to be honest I am not happy with it. It looks and works brilliantly but unfortunately it is too reminiscent of another applications style.

Its an interesting problem.

I love the UI design of a particular company. Subscribe to their philosophy and adore their brilliant simplicity. They market and champion a particular type of design and recommend following their example.
I have been working on this UI design for a while but my problem is that it looks too much like their solutions. Put simply, their UI is the best solution as far as I can see. To stray too far from that is to design an inferior product and make a customer suffer. But to release as is is to damage my credibility as a designer and the image of the business due to the possibility of being viewed as plagiarism.

I cant of course release it while it looks so close to the other product so I will work further on it.
