Press coverage of sharp auctioneering practices
I cant help wondering while reading and listening to the current uproar over auctioneering practices how quickly the press will quietly move on to another topic.
Remember the scandal about anticompetitive practices in car dealerships? Not really? Probably because the papers remained strangely quiet about it. Would it by any chance have anything to do with the amount of advertising that motoring account for in the papers? How many pages and how much revenue does property account for in papers? Perhaps I am being too cynical. I will watch with interest.
You couldn’t possibly be too cynical about the “free press” and their twisted relationship with their main revenue streams Alan.
