Fake Plastic

Fake Plastic
Reincarnation is a great thing. One day you are designing in a wet cold place, the next you are experiencing life as a gazelle on the plains of Africa being stalked by hungry lions.
Looks like some one had a sly word with Buddha and slipped a few notes his(her?) way.
Galway based Pixel Imp (RIP) is back as another great design co. Fake Plastic.
looks like its still a work in progress but great start.

Glenn Marshall

Glenn Marshall
The hypnotic and beautiful computer animation of Glenn Marshall. Unfortunitly his work is let down by some awful presentation. Videos are also in RealPlayer format which may turn off a few. To view you can install Real alternative for PC instead of the bloated Realplayer. Anyone know what the options are on a mac?

Make Guinness Spot

Make Guinness spot
Guinness Idents from Belfast based Make in sponsorship of Sky Sports coverage of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament.
There is something a bit raw and basic about these spots that i really like. They don't look like they were made using the latest hi tec slick gear involving a 3 day lighting set up, a render farm and copius amounts of post production. More Sam Raimi-ish budget filming, great shots and a great concept.

Nice visuals let down by poor implementation. Unnecessary pop ups all over the shop and animation that is too slow and rough.
