New York Times - Dublin Design

New York Times Article - Dublin Design
Bug me not.
Edited non reg version.

An article on Irish design and architecture in the NY times. A few familiar names in there.

I did laugh at this comment:

"The number of designers being produced today doesn't meet the demand," said Colm O'Briain, the director of the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.

Ciaran, who is currently interning here, has said that the number of graduates from his degree year who got any kind of design related job is tiny. These are designers with good portfolios and 1.1 results.

But then it goes on to explain that Mr. O'Briain needs to sell a few more post-graduate design programs .
