Irish shorts at Atom Films

Irish shorts at Atom Films
As Eoghan points out in his comment, there are currently 35 Irish shorts available to view at Atom Films.
I have not watched them all yet but there are some gems among them including Yu Ming is Anim Dom, Oddball Football, Guy's Dog and Prey Alone.

Perfect for timing for winding down on a Friday at work.

Venom

Venom
A darkly gothic tale of loss and revenge from Director John Hayes, DOP James Mather and the darkly innovative pen of Mark Tuthill.
An Irish short film shot in Prague. Must say it looks the business.
Trailer and photos on the site.

Does anyone know what the normal release schedule is for short films?
The festival tour seem to be first in line to try and generate some awards. Then TV and maybe a DVD collection. And the final resting place for a lot of Irish shorts seems to be Atom films. Is this set in stone? What are the outlets for shorts?

Design Ireland Network 06/07

Design Ireland- Skillnet - Network 2006 / 07
Another great design to promote the range of courses that Design Ireland/Skillnet are holding (and subsidising) during the 2006/07 year.
Last years program won a GDBA award for them and designers Neworld Associates. Looks like they will be in the running again this year.
Anyone know if Neworld are responsible again?

The Design Ireland Skillnets Program for 2006/'07 is available here.
